We took a trip to the Krispy Kreme store to get a peek at how donuts are made. They have a glass screened production line that gives you a behind the scenes look. It was interesting to watch. I am not a Krispy Kreme donut fan because they are too sweet for me, but I know a lot of people who love them. You can stop by just to see the process, or you can pick up some donuts as well depending on your tastes. There are a few locations, so check the web-site for the one nearest you. Make a field trip out of it, and study donut making before or after you go.
